She may be the oldest of the Coupe brethren, but perhaps she is most deserving of a little pep in her step wink

All I need is a candidate, so anyone who would like to volunteer please let me know. I am based in Bristol, a lovely place to visit I might add, and for your efforts your Coupe will be granted some TLC albeit laced with steroids smile

if its the same type of thing as the 20v chip, just a straight swap.

(carefully)

the 20v chip is a master stroke for flea, changes the whole attitude of the performance.

think i was one of the first few to buy one, and was £40ish money well spent.

itching to get a 16v one...

I'd definitely be interested in one when its done.

Unfortunately I'm no help on the car front.

I reckon my son would be well up for a 16v chip - will it be ready before Christmas?

Just for the hell of it... I found this while clearing up some junk yesterday. I can't remember the date we did this, but I probably had around a hundred K on the engine at the time...

Still waiting for a volunteer car, hopefully one will be available towards the end of the month.

Quite a flat torque curve there Neil, should be some good gains available across the board.

I'm up to volunteer, Leighton. Not the w/e of the 16th, but if the snow shifts afterward?

Shows the step at 4k that everyone notices when driving it... I have a guess it's running a tad rich below that.

When the guy did the test, he looked at it and said 'nice and flat, stick a supercharger on it!'

The deed has been driven. There is still a small detail to resolve but first impressions? Smoother, a lot more responsive, and I keep looking for another gear. And places to go vooommmmm.

I reckon this would work well with the turbo final drive...

Neil suggested taking a look at your Tipo smile Given that they run more power as standard, I think it would prove to be quite sprightly after a remap.
