I have 20ft x 8ft cargo container for me and her to go to the big Fiat scrapyard in the sky together I just can't think of a car I can afford on the road today, I'd love to look at or drive more! Might not be the fastest or best handling, but I just love the whole package

First reg 23/5/95, last 5 nos are 24195 funny enough there's a blue one just down the road near the King's Theatre in Ed. with the same reg M*** CLM as mine with the number seven digits earlier than it Methinks that used to be a London registration. Keeping it as long as I can possibly justify it Had it now for 8 lovely years and never lost it in a car park [for benefit of those with senior moments......]

I havn't even had mine for a year yet, but I can say that for as long as I can afford to keep it running, it's staying. Which hopefully means forever, or until it falls apart in a large cloud of red dust!
Never felt affection for any car before the coop (mind you, with 2 Fiestas, a Laguna and an MX-5 behind me...that maybe doesn't take much)
Yep, she's staying!

yeah twas the mk1, only got it for the flippy uppy headlights, ha. I certainly enjoyed the car, when the weather was perfectly dry, but any form of moisture on the road and 180s at roundabouts were inevitable . It got written off in the snow beggining of this year, which is when I swapped to the coop!

Had mine 5 1/2 years now and can't imagine being without it. The only thing I'd change it for is another one in Electric Blue although the missus suggested we could have one of those as well

had mine 6 years now, but expanding family means it's just too small now, not too sure what to do with it, probably needs to be sold
It's been replaced with a V8 7 series beemer, the most fun people carrier I could find for little cash

Been thinking the same, how can I sell it? Had it since 2002, wont get much money and I will have to buy a slower, boring car like the BMW 130 - at best. No I think I'll keep it. This set up right now together with my winter Punto is unbeatable!

I really think it isnt about money with these cars - I am letting my wife have my car which is worth at least 5 times more than the coupe I am after, but I think a good one has that classic car look, plus it is so much fun to drive :-)

I've had many cars, old and new. I intend to do my 98 20VT up (keeping it pretty standard body wise). Bought cheap, now in the process of spending lots on it. Already spent in the region of £1200.00 since buying it a week ago!! Probably spend another 1K on it up till xmas. At this moment in time, no other car interests me and I just love it.
I know enough about doing bodywork to get it looking fantastic, just spend on the engine and upgrades.
It just interests me and I do feel content with it. Great!

Yep, mine's a keeper. I think I might arrange to be buried in it!
Probably only done about 500 miles in it this year, for a variety of reasons, but I know I've got a good 'un requiring mostly just some TLC to keep it tip-top, and it's nicely tucked away for whenever I want it.

Still got mine, been tucked up for far too long now. MoT tomorrow is the first step in my winter refresh/OCD cleaning project. Then I will be spending more than the car's worth on a respray.

yellfella wrote Then I will be spending more than the car's worth on a respray. So true, people who dont like cars must think we're mad when we do this sort of thing. So many want a respray on their coupes at the mo we could do with a garage that will spray 10 for £1000 each as a group buy
