Anybody else had trouble with the aftermarket LE-skirts? Mine are catching the doors, especially the right one. Not really catching but too close so if it's raining the water sticks with the doors.
What is there to do? Obviously they are glued on now so hard to move anything.. Adjust the doors?

Here and here are some pics of the job on the drivers side.

Maybe it would've been a good idea to apply force downwards on the central part somehow to really make them align to the sills and make for a better gap to the doors.. Something for the updated guide?

No I've had this car since 2001 and I know it's not bent. wink laugh
That said I have heard of these skirts can warp a bit if not storaged correctly? Mine's been standing in my hallway for 6 months.. maybe got a bit deformed there?

looks like you are trying to glue them?

i had similar troubles

my advice would be to forget the glue, screw them on from the side so that they hang correctly - then they should fit perfectly. A little glue on the very top of the front face will help, but there is very little contact.

Yes they are now glued on front/back and along the sills (however some of the glue seem to have come loose when I drenched everything in thin antirust-wax..)
You mean screws at the ends? Ok I did only glue there as I didn't want any drilling. It seems to stick well there though.

What I like about the Lancia seats are The Control Of The Car you get! smile They are identical to the LE/Plus-ones only in alcantara, will be in leather eventually.
The front bumper is my design.
The boot mat is from Habianek, Germany. Great piece of quality like the floor mats. I think they've quit their business?

This is not good idea of side skirts fitting mate.. You have to screw it.. and use only a bit of glue..

Ok but this don't have anything to do with my problem at the top of this thread. Things would have been the same if I would've screw it, only difference would be some ugly screws visible and possible rust later on.

The skirts length matched the sills exactly and I pressed along the sides first, the problem was there from start. Would not matter if I used screws.

Are you sure? When I tried to glue mine they caught the doors and wouldn't fit straight. By screwing them you can control how they hang more accurately...mine are now nice and flush with the sill...

Ok too late now anyway I guess from your answers.
That said, I think I know what to do.
