My f1's have nearly had it again, was wondering if anyone had tried these uni royals ? Appear to be rated higher than most although i have heard little about them. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Grid/

yeah was thinking of the 452's, they seem to get a mixed bag of reviews,
the f1's annoy me a bit because the very edge of the tyres always look like they are near bald even when you get them new !,i also find after the tyres are half worn they loose a lot of their grip.
may try the 452's

I have used uniroyal rainsport, i dont think they were rainsport 2 though. Found them to be quite soft e.g when i changed lanes on the motorway at 70 + you could feel the tire having to catch up with the change in direction, good ride and superb wet road holding. I think they are better on the rear of the car where you don't want to loose the back end in the wet. I found them to wear quite fast and start to crack slightly on the sidewalls so I have the khumo ecsta now, but still i think I would use again due to the grip in wet conditions which is most of the time in Scotland.

I have 452's all round on my car. I don't think you will beat them for the money.
The fronts last around 11,000 miles on mine.

i have rainsport 2's. theyre awesome tyres. i ve f1's, t1r's and parada spec2's before an these are easily up there with them all. my mate used to run them on his delta aswell. really grippy in the dry, and equally as capable in the wet. they jus dont want to let go. ive had them on for a few months now, and still have loads of tread left - which is surprising as i was told they wear out really fast.
