Has anyone had there greddy give them boost problems. Mine sometimes wont boost to where its set to, lift your foot and put it back down and its fine again. Seems like the boost valve is sticking.

Right today i thought it was about time i had a look into why my car wasnt boosting right. Found that the waste gate was stuck open slightly. A bit of lube later and all is well again and smile factor is back \:\)

Hi Gaz. Check the greddy solenoid too, mine had a bit of oil and grit in it stopping it from opening and closing smoothly. P.S. good luck with my dad's cambelt!

Mine does not seem to make the required boost pressure either after engine rebuild and turbo rebuild. On low boost I used to get 1 bar now I get 0.8 and on high boost it was set to 1.3 and I can just about get 1 to 1.1 bar, any ideas?

Alrite Steve? Mine was the waste gate sticking but a know you have had your turbo rebuilt. Try taking off the greddy valve and clean it and check all boost pipes.

Yeah that's the one. The chap he bought it off couldn't accurately tell him when the belt was last done
