That is one weird looking car, not sure I want a coupe if it looks like that!!!

I'd say that the image was right as a 'technical' drawing. It's just a flat outline remember and doesn't take into account perspective. There are also no tones on the image giving it no depth.

How do I know this? I drew cars at uni.

Maybe my mate has no depth perception and that's why he calls it a fugly car...

The 20V outline in the brochure appears wider, so the picture must be slightly squashed.

Surprisingly not, but he's adamant that the Coupé is ugly. At first I just brushed it off as him being a wind up merchant, but it appears that after 4 years since I first owned one he still maintains that it's a Marmite car.

its the extra lines on the drawing that make it look weird

take them out and it looks a whole lot better

and don't forget that its the 16V model shown, which possibly has a narrower track than the 20VT

I'd agree with that, a few of my friends dont like the look of the coupe either.

i normally reply something like, "well get used to seeing the back end of it in your 306" or something like that.



i think its a good thing that the coupe provokes a reaction from those who see it,love it or hate it, its the sort of car where people actually have an opinion, compared to the normal boring humdrum gracing the roads

It just looks too high. I don't think any of the Coupes look as high off the road, with so much front tyre showing.

At least we know what they'd look like with jacked up suspension - effing weird.
