Can anyone help me? I've taken the decision that if I cant get insurance for under £450 this year the Fiat is going \:\(

Anyway, currently there is 3 years NCB on the Fiat insurance policy which ends in Februray. I took out insurance at the start of December for my Peugeot obvioulsy saying I had no NCB.

Anyway, if I dont renew the insurance on the Fiat, will I lose the NCB? How would I go about getting that transfered over onto my Peugeot? Would I need to cancel the Peugeot policy then take it out again declaring the 3 years NCB ?!?!?!?

Thanks in advance

Ben

You can keep the NCB for 2 or 3 years, just get proof when you cancel. You would then transfer the longer NCB to the other car. You cannot transfer mid policy afaik as I would have liked to do that too

I think you technically can actually. Phone your insurance and ask. The only requirement is that u dont use your NCD on 2 cars at the same time. If the other policy is cancelled, you "should" be able to transfer it.

You usually have up to 3 years from the last time an NCD was used till it expires.
