Am vaguely thinking of selling my coupe (only vaguely at the moment). What do people think its worth? \:D
I was thinking of the order of £16k given it is the fastest & most powerful road legal Fiat in the UK. Has practically every mod under the sun on it.
Would come with 2 spare sets of wheels and some track tyres.
Runs 568BHP on pump fuel, 616BHP on race fuel at relatively low boost (1.5 bar). Makes 470BHP at 1 bar if I remember rightly.

The main reason I'm thinking about it is to have another project. I've got what I wanted to out of the development of my coupe.
Any takers? \:\)

Hi JohnS,
I have no idea what you'd get for your car. I want to know how you get the power down in the wet!!

why not be the first person to do a RWD conversion? \:D

good luck with the sale if you choose to do so, I personally think you're a bit crazy! \:P

the car is worth that kind of money if you put into perspective what kind of cars it can match up with!

but mods don't always get the value they deserve! \:\(

has full traction control. You can floor it in the wet and it goes. All that happens is it progressively backs off the power. Works much better than racelogic

It`s worth as much as anybody is willing to pay for it \:\)
If i had the money i`d say 16k was a fair price considering what you must have spent on it. how many miles ;\) \:D

3k on the current engine, 153k on the car. All wear and tear parts have been changed - all suspension, drive shafts etc etc.

The problem you have is that a really good Maserati 3200 is £18,000 and a reasonable one(65,000 miles, full history) is £16,000.I love Fiat Coupes but there is a limit to what they are worth.
I wouldn't sell your coupe unless you are desperate; you'll never get the value back.

Some of us on here spent about that on our coupes in the first place \:\) Fair comment though, you'd struggle to buy a Fiat car for over 16k new these days.

I don't think 16k is unreasonable for such a unique car - you're talking supercar performance, after all. I saw a standard red LE on autotrader not too long ago for £10,000 which kind of puts it into perspective.

I also know somebody who spend 40 grand over 3 years modifying a saxo (for fccuks sake!!) so on that basis alone, a 16k 600+bhp Coupe represents excellent value for money ;\)

How much has been spent on the car? Can you write down a full spec please? Thanks.

I agree that it comes down to opportunity cost, what other car could you buy for £16k (or whatever the market price is), and how does that car compare to a FWD car with 600bhp. Also, the type of person that would buy such a heavily modified car, and who is able to maintain it (i.e. in the event of engine failure) and afford to run it and insure it (I shudder to think what an insurance co would quote such a powerful car!) could probably afford to maintain and run something a lot more exotic, Maserati 3200 is a good example of this, as is a TVR Cerbera.

If we consider the run of the mill Fiat Coupe potential owner these days, it would be someone looking for a cheap performance car (say between the value of £2k to £5k). I would guess that 99.99% of the market would be in this price bracket. People that actually want to spend £15k+ on a performance car wouldn't even fill in the drop down boxes on autotrader or search ebay for a Fiat Coupe.

What I'd do to judge potential market price, is setup an ebay auction, advertise it around the world (every forum that you think would have potential buyers who don't yet know they want a £16k Fiat Coupe with 600bhp) set a reserve of £15k, and see where it ends up - and how much interest you get in it. You'd be able to then judge what you could potentially get for it I think.

I've seen cars like that fiesta 4x4 with 2L Cosworth lump advertised on ebay, and I think it sold.

Sideways a LOT

Hey, you copied my car its been like that for 9 years \:P

Back on topic, like S1mma says its not just the initial cost that its the problem. it's the maintaining of it especially with Barbz leaving the country.

But I'm sure somebody would buy it for that price, it might just take a while to find that person!

Whats the new project going to be anyway?

Ebay would be a good place to advertise due to worldwide coverage. Maybe some rich prince will come along and add it too his collection of supercars?
