aving a nighmare with this sounds system!
just fitted infinity comps at the front and kenwood 250watt 6x9 not even crankin it up the bass goes all funny sounds shit i thought it was wrong continuity but i checked and all is good think the stereo is tryin to hard!
has anyone else fitted these speaks straight to the stereo and had the same problem???

I also found the same trying to run it off a head unit.

Changing over to amp powered rear speakers maybe it *much* better.

Current setup is MB Quart speakers components, 6x9 mb quart rears , alpine amp (mrv-300 I think) and alpine head unit.

What stereo are you running?

And are you sure you've got the polarity the same for all the speakers?

alpine stereo 60wx4, had to run a seperate live from the battery to the stereo!

i made sure i had right polarity checked and double checked if its low down sounds great crack it up a little all bass goes sounds like the standard italian speakers (crap)

You cant run four speakers with sufficent oooommmppphh off a standard unit. Get an alpine amp (plenty on fleabay) and feel the difference.

In fact to prove the the theory disconnect either the back or the front speakers and see the difference.
