Hi, My 20V Turbo coupe was registered on 30th December 1996 in UK according to the DVL and as I understand it Fiat did not bring the 20V Turbo into UK until December 1996 so does that make mine one of the first to arrive? I am the second owner of the car and have had it since August 2000 when I bought it from Black & White Garage, Thatcham Berks.

That's quite unusual for your coupé to have had only 2 owners. What is the mileage out of interest?

My 20vt was registered in November 96.

71,000 and as I am only the second owner I know that is genuine.

I hardly ever drive mine due to a number of things but it is getting a nice new garage to live in this week or next and then if I can get it running again I will have it MOT'd (it's on SORN at the moment) and then I must drive it more.

Not quite as few owners, but I am only the 3rd owner of my 20VT - the previous keeper had it for three years but only put about 2.5k on the clock!

Current mileage is 47,000 and likely to take a while to creep up as I only do about 2k per year, just fun driving!

It will probably scare it next year if we make the trip to Turin.

I'm on the Dordogne at the moment and missing my car. Today would have been fine. But the other day, with the heat and humidity and no aircon, it would have been a misery.

Mines had seven owners, the first of whom must have taken good care of it.
I've loads of receipts, all the mot's and original italian documents, possibly the build sheets.

The 20vt arrived in the UK in October 1996, the first batch were registered by Fiat UK (all Pxxx CCF) for their Press fleet and were loaned out to journalists for road tests. I bought P452 CCF in Portofino Blue at auction (it was billed as the debut at auction of the Alfa GTV and Spider, but there were a handful of Fiat Coupe 20v and 20vt cars there) in early Feb 1997, it had 1760 miles on the clock with noticeably worn tyres and low oil level, but I saved several thousand pounds off the new price, and side-stepped the waiting list which at the time was up to 6 months. As far as I know it was not featured in any magazines. I've still got this car, but it's been SORNed a while, waiting for me to finish the rear brakes/subframe refresh, as well as a further turbo upgrade.

Which part Paul? I used to live in La Tour Blanche near Perigeux in the 1970's. Fiat 850t van and Citroen Dyane followed by a Citroen GS estate in those days.

16VT and X1/9 1500

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

Hello Pete.
We are staying in a gite in Le Bugue, market town on the Vezere, south of Perigeux.
We've been coming here for 15 odd years and enjoy mixing with the French.
A red coupe used to live in one of the little towns towards Bergerac.
We've got a Fiat 500 hire car.
Paul

I bought my 20VT Speed Red for £8,500 from Richards Ltd, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts in February 2003 - it had only one previous owner and 40,000mls on the clock.

It's now showing just over 145,000mls and is our daily driver.
