Hello, i have had a run in with a few coupes over the years but i have never owned one to this extent. I bought it 6 months ago and drove it around for a month or so and the clutch has started to slip so i parked it up and started buying some stuff. It has had a bit of work done already, apparently running 310bhp. GT28 Garret Turbo 460 Injectors Ported Manifold Front Mount Walbro fuel pump with dedicated loom That's about it, it was burning alot of oil so i have had the turbo rebuilt by the guys at MidlandTurbos and they have increased the compressor wheel size side, fitted a larger hybrid wheel and ported the waste gate. so far i have got forged rods and pistons, new 6 piece clutch kit, timing belt kit, full gasket set, tubular manifold, Innovate boost controller, FC front mount kit and an alloy radiator. So what im asking is while i have the motor out and apart, what else should i do? I'm hoping to see 350, anything more is a bonus Any help is appreciated, im starting the work next weekend. Tah

I am struggling to find a new oil pump, any ideas on where i can find one?
It has the later model tubular cast manifold on at the moment, should i stick with that then?
What do you mean by AC bearing?
Cheers

A/C bearing is the power steering bearing that lives in the cast mount, the pump shaft runs on this.
Also if you're going for a 6 paddle clutch replace the engine mounts, if they're OE and original the action of the paddle clutch will cause excessive juddering, a nightmare for daily use, especially in traffic.
I should be able to source you an a new oil pump/gasket from Europe, it takes time though so anything up to 3 weeks.
Also as Dean has suggested above, fit a OE cast exhaust manifold as the stainless ones are very poor quality and often fail in a spectacular fashion.

Cheers For oil pump - try FIAT Coupe specialists like FCSS, FC Performance, Midlands Car Servicing, VooDoo Tuning or simply a FIAT dealer. It won't be cheap, though. Most likely GBP 450 - 500. If you got the cheap chinese ebay one - they are shite, no matter latest or not. Sorry, I meant power steering shaft housing bearing. EDIT: I see that my reply crossed with Joe's.

Well i am very luck with where i work, my dad owns a large motorcycle parts distribution company in the UK so i have access to all sorts of brands at crazy prices I went for Wossner 102mm Pistons and ZRP H beam rods with ARP L19 bolts all in costing me around £750 with today's exchange rate, luckily i bought them before the crash so saved a bunch. Yes, Glyco is the only company i can find that offer the engine bearings. I was also able to get hold of a Guarnitauto gasket kit, italian made If you are interested i would happily supply you with some parts at your own discretion

patrickstar -
I am using Wossner pistons 83.00mm ZRP rods H beam with ARP L19 bolts Glyco engine bearings
I got the stuff at really good prices due to where i work, The rods and pistons cost me just over £600 at the time, straight from the manufacturer.
I would be able to supply you with some parts if you like, but will be alot more now due to the exchange rate...
AndyL-
What am i measuring on the pump?
I do plan on have the head refurbished, new seals and valves reground possibly over sized.
Am i right in saying the 20V doesn't have balancer shafts?

No, you are not. It has balancer shaft which is driven by oil pump.

No, you are not. It has balancer shaft which is driven by oil pump. Ahh so there is no separate belt? My friend has a mint EVO 1 HF integrale, and he was saying about the belts need changing or some thing, He wasn't to sure on the 20v motor though.

There is no belt, yes. 16VT motor is different and you can either remove the belt or the balancer shaft itself from it.

Just logged in at work and realized my images aren't working? They do on my OC at home.
Any way what is the thing at the rear of the engine bay? with 3 hoses going to it. a friend told me it was a fuel vapour thing.
Can i get rid of it?

That's on the engine i am familiar with that but the thing i'm on about is mounted on the fire wall, kinda like a T with vacuum lines either side and one from underneath.

Right! The exciting time has come! The block work has been done and is going to be painted this week and then time to build it up Does anyone have a coupe 20v turbo specific torque settings list? And also something on how to time up the balancer shaft with the oil pump? Also, my block has some small surface corrosion on the cylinder head surface, i can't skim due to the water journals. I have done my best to prep it, any one else had experience with this?
