Always thought the Australian notes were a very good idea back in 1997. Don't know why its taken us so long to do the same.

Am I missing something? Seen online that this is the "First Fully Polymer Banknote to enter circulation in Great Britain". But.... Clydesdale Bank released the "First Fully Polymer Banknote to enter circulation in Great Britain" back in March 2015. I mean, I have 2 of em at home! Both in nice little presentation packs. Quite so.....you could see it's the sort of thing which might add fuel to the fire of nationalism if the separatists had the impression their hard-earned wasn't taken seriously. Along with some school qualifications from north of the border, which certainly happened to our daughter 15 years ago.....
