My recent purchase of a standard totally original 20VT in broom yellow has made me think about the plus version and I think I made the right decision.
I missed out on a lovely broom yellow plus with the gorgeous rally type front seats a few years ago so a plus was always what I was on the lookout for after. But since then I have gone off the plus models. I just find all the add on bits make the design overly fussy. I think the red calipers look a little gaudy now too. Sorry if this offends Plus owners but I am now of the less is more school of though on the coupes.

Your so right , the plus is more and the 20vt is less in price , looks and equipment . less may be more when it comes to aftermarket but the PLUS & LE models are still the nicest looking coupes to roll off the production line, in both levels of equipment and looks. As with everything , you get what pay for.............

Glad you have fallen for the looks of your car Alfaguy. Good news considering you own it now Personally, all coupes look good to me. Apart from the ones with Ferrari badges on them

Ive got a Plus, and a standard 20VT.
Out of the two of them I am going to have to say that the std car is the one i am most content with.
I should prefer the Plus (my plus), and I truly wish I did, but its had so many unnecessary engine mods - makes the drive exciting I admit, but definately not pleasant - that its just not what I consider it being a worthy 'Plus' any more. Probably I should call it a Fiat Coupe 20VT 'Negative'.
I would go for an unmolested Coupe, of any variant, any day. And that would be my opinion on the right variety to buy, use, preserve & keep.
