So the gtv is your favourite child? That's a hell of a decision to have to make. Can't you mothball the Coupe for a while so you'll know what it'll be like if you did sell it? Lovely pics

The pictures of course show three things that could be sold But it looks to me like you could add an extra garage at the side, perhaps a double length one, problem solved! Edit: Didn't that used to be a double width garage? Convert it back (and add another at the side)

That is a consideration , but I think a tricky and hence costly conversion (it has always been single). I have also seriously thought about it though!

They look great together on the drive, think how your drive will look with one missing ! Pining, tears runing down the drive, a feeling of loss, yearning for its return ....hope that helped

Issue is getting room to move in there. Can get one car in but not move about, would need to take down the side wall of house (gulp) to give double opening and internal space I'd want. Can't go double length due to kitchen etc. I also have 4 cars, hence reached the limit

I've run out of room too.....if the proposed car is more aesthetically pleasing, stylish, relatively rare, faster and newer I would flog the Coupe. Very hard to top the Coupe but finally seriously looking at a 911.

Nice, and importantly it will hold it's money, maybe a tad 'clinical' compared to the Coupe and it's relative and likeable foibles, maybe that's not a bad thing though. What year/model 911?

997 Gen 2 C4S manual
A touch faster than the Coupe, but N/A gives a much sharper throttle response which makes it feel quite different in delivery.

Mark, do you still have that old Aston Martin? It's going back a few years now but I'm sure we had a chat about it at Roger's once...

Ive got a friend with a 997 Gen2 C4S in white for sale. Not sure what the price is or the year. I can find out more if you wish. He is part ex it for a Jag F-Type. In East Grinstead. Thanks, I have an offer pending, let's see where that gets to.

Hey- you've got great taste Annie!
The 4200 is a lot of gear- probably less hassle than the 3200 GT but not as pretty. The Gransport is probably the one to go for.
But actually, they are a bit too much for me! I was 'tossed the keys' to a Gransport once in a garage, but after starting it- I was terrified! The noise is WAY too much- and it was just idling..!
My Uncle is really into Porsches and is constantly taking the p*ss of out my Italian tastes (and all my tastes in fact) and I always retort with-
'Porsches are for people who didn't have the guts to buy Italian!'
Which is kind of true as he has tonnes of books on Ferrari.
However, at the risk of insulting Mark S, I would like to retract that comment in present company- as he has undoubtedly proved beyond any doubt, having run a GTV AND Coupé, that he does very much have the guts.
