Spent ages with a scorebook creating teams and running a full test series. If Mr Walsh gets his way I may have the same amount of spare time soon.

We used to play that game a lot when I was a kid.

W G Grace had died a few years earlier: Did I ever tell you I once wore his cap when my wife was designing an exhibition at Lords for the MCC?
And Don Bradman's jacket - I was slim in those days.
