I have been in touch with a supplier who can make up a fiat coupe banner , ideally to be hung in the garage to enhance your pride and joy. It could also be hung over the bed if you wish, but that's up to you !
The size of this banner is 4ft 3ins long and 14ins vertically. He also does 6ft banners by 2 ft , so if the interest is here, the final size will be decided by the numbers of people who vote for it .
The cost of the small banner is a measly £20 and the bigger banner due to its size and postage costs would be approx. £ 30.
The printer has stated that he would like the banners to be printed in one go, so we would need the orders in by early next week.
These banners are solvent ink printed on top quality banner grade pvc, with metal eyelets in each corner for hanging purposes.
I don't suppose this idea has been aired on here before, but in my opinion they look good and at least they would inform your neighbours what make your car is when they walk past your open garage !!

I'd want something a little more classy and maybe more flowing, it looks a little ... sort of ... pieced together and disjointed?

The slammed coupe isn't really the image I want of a coop either...

Maybe the shadow outline with Fiat Coupe, maybe 20VT (generally the most popular) and possibly something else like a 20VT gif or Jpeg?

As I say mate, great idea, I would join in and buy as it would great in my garage. Just not that one

I bet, if you spoke to the printer he could render something nice glenn as make some jpegs maybe....

ok,will ask later, think the 20vt idea may alienate all the 16v, 20v and 16vt owners though lol.Like the idea of the border though, wonder if he could use the image of an actual car instead of silhouette ? I will ask for something more elaborate .

The 2nd design is better than the 1st one, but I agree with Patch that it can be improved.
Definitely interested though.

Like the bottom one better. But still not sold enough to want to buy one. I have bought into the idea for sure though.

So, for me

Bottom one
Fiat and then the slash Coupe underneath it all on the left and have it in Fiat blue (the Coupe or the slash) not both
Drop the pininfarina in black onto the car silhouette but keep it very small and in the correct position
Nothing on the right side of the banner and make the silhouette bigger to fill the void and balance it all out.

It might also look okay of the wheels were removed from the slammed one.....

Just a thought...

Glenn, you may like to consider that there are legal implications when using 3rd party logos, particularly when there is a claim of copyright made by another party.

The club, FCCUK restricts use of its logo to official club meetings, correspondence and merchandise and would not be happy for it to be used without permission.

Please do not use it.

looks like we need some fresh ideas french coupe/patch/myself.....or i will just use a photo of my car and stick that on it.....i believe that will not contravene any rules hopefully , so if you don't mind an inky or red coupe on the banner ,let me know,i have no problem with anyone using my image.

Can the club grant permission for the use of it on this particular garage banner subject to it having an acknowledgement written on it in text and the club internet web address?

It's such a nice design .......

Full colour prints can be done with a number of different materials that will survive well in a garage. Why not make a collage with a selection of coupe meet photos or get snapping on a scenic drive? There are many stunning images posted for the coupe calendars that may suit your needs as well.

I've a set of Nigel's posters that will be getting laminated and mounted by a local art shop, perfect for display in the man cave.

It's not just the club's logo on it Phil, there is also Fiat's Logo and the Pininfarina script to consider, both of which may have copyright implications.

The club is not prepared to become involved in any possible issues no matter how unlikely.

Give me a few days Glenn and I will come up with something using photoshop. With regard to the FIAT logo, I think that seeing as we own their cars and we want to make something for the place we park them in, it will not be much of an issue. I'll come up with something and ping you over a pm It can be advertised to the wider audience on FB.

I have a Fast Fiat logo in my back window which uses the F/I/A/T/ logo.

I was given the stickers to use, as long as I cut off the website owners web address at the bottom, as the website owner had been threatened/told by Fiat that he couldn't use the logo.

Just so you know what to expect!
