Checking the oil in the morning on a 20vt can I think give a higher reading than it actually is.

Please other members help me out here.

The way I thought it needed to be checked is warm engine level ground let it settle for like 10 min and then check. The dipstick reading is then usually right on the money. But when i check it in the morning on a cold engine standing for a couple of hours it's on the high side even past.

Okay, I am going check it tomorrow right after my drive to work!

Joe, it's a sort Selenia, but with an other name. I'll have to ask it, because I forgot the name. It was good oil, they use it on theyre higher performance Coupés too...

@countrycruising (Joe)

I have MPM oil, Selenia seems to be a co-brand of it. MPM is known from the tractorpulling smile

What was she running on before?

By the sound of it she was running a higher pressure hot before the oil change.

The Castrol goodie she drove before... I don't know what it could be. Both was the 10W40 oil I believe...
