I have bought a very sticky rubber covered centre console from ebay to refurbish to replace the one in my coupe - the lh bank of switches has fallen through!
Having read all the tales of woe about removing the old covering, I set about this with some trepidation.
However, a bottle of clear meths from Homebase and some J-cloths did the job in an hour and a half!
The next step is to try and cover this with 4D film - it would be great if it went as well. I will let you know.

PS never seen clear meths before!!

Sadly the 4D film did not look great. I have removed it and I am quite happy with the 'shiny' cleaned panel.

Hello,
Having looked at all the threads on sticky centre consoles, I really can't face doing it so was wondering if any one had used one of these kits? Was thinking about the alloy look....
