Not sure what to make of it yet, but the paragliding looks sweet!

I liked it. Never going to complain about a train being 10 minutes late again.

Anyone who can fall asleep while paragliding gets my vote... mind you, so does anyone who can pull a loop on a 'stable as the pyramids' tandem glider!

It's India, there is no health a safety!

Must admit, it wasn't what I expected. I did enjoy it, I liked the fact he was trying to show how things really are although I'm sure having a camera crew does twist things a little.
Wonder how much tea he'll bring back?

I heard you the first time!

MrsC and I were gorging ourselves on a bit of 4OD goodness (whole series of Secret State), so we didn't check out what was actually "on telly"! Top Gear doesn't do it for me, but I'd have liked to have seen GM. Oh well, have to squeeze it in before Broadchurch tonight...

Slightly off topic. But do you happen to know if there's anywhere I can catch up with the current series?

Catch up on my TiVo box only seems to have the latest episode. I set my series link a bit late and I'm missing the first two episodes.

All 4 episodes are available on the ITV Player. You have 2 days left to catch episode 1.

That's assuming have a way of watching the Player.....

Thanks. I have Virgin TiVo but when I go into catch up it only shows the latest episode as available.

I think I may have to go properly into the ITV Player app.

Good to know though, thanks.

I thought it was great. I've been there, and I've been on a train. It was pretty accurate. laugh I was amazed at the lorry repairs yard. They simply pull up in some field alongside what they call a motorway and there is a little community of repair men that can fix or strip anything!

I am a big fan but i thought he came over as imature in the book and also thought some of his riding decisions let a few people down badly.

He is a nice excentric lad with a fair bit of talent and big testicles.

I had hoped he could get a major TT win,but i think his boat has sailed on that one.

I think what I liked about his book was the lack of trying to whitewash his faults and his acceptance that he had made bad decisions. He talks about being autistic and I think that is fairly evident, but it's unlikely to make him easy company.

I've no inside knowledge, but I was told that BMW plan to give GM a ride on their "factory" bike at the TT this year at the expense of (last year's Senior champion), Michael Dunlop. No idea if this is right, but it might provide BMW with a publicity storm and GM with a TT winning bike.

I thought his book was excellent, good brief synopsis Jim.

Although I felt a lot of his choices came down to his "my way" thinking and also the fact that he doesn't actually care too much about the money. I think it's that attitude that makes him so palatable. He sees himself as a truck mechanic first and that funds the "nutter on a bike".

The images in the book are also good, although the fireball ones are a bit scary.

If Channel 4 have any sense then his next programme/series will be Goa to Grimsby on a Royal Enfield.
