A surprisingly untidy fix considering the cleanliness of the rest. Presumably the bonnet struts have gone too.

Pretty nice looking though, can see the owner getting 5k if no major issues.

Nice. Not a bad price either.

2 things I don't like to see in a selling photo is a bonnet being held up with by a prop and the seats half wet. You can't tell what state the red sections are in as leather treatment water etc changes the colour massively.

Sold for 4k in 2007.

As said, broken bonnet release, expansion capture bottle - why confused , colour coded air vents to match centre consol, worn out non existant bonnet struts, red grill sick , shabby painted slam panel, standard front mount intercooler and pod boost guages - if your running higher boost, surley a FMIC is required? Dodgy rear picture - why? when all others are in focus, Fiat mud flaps! Leather looks OK-ish, no good pics of drivers seat chinny

Other than that it looks OK and fairly tidy, it does seem a little optomistic on the pricing even with a set of new front discs, it will be interestig to see how and if it sell at that price.

Well, it's not a forum car, but it's semi decent looking.

Forum cars are always better (IMO)

Looking at that last night and I thought the exact same thing about the picture being out of focus

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's slightly over priced

Loads of contributors on this board lament the low prices that coupes fetch yet when one appears for sale at an above average price it gets picked apart. The owner, or one of them , has obviously spent time and money on the engine compartment and an owner with that attitude has probably cared for the rest of the car. Good coupes are rare and should be valued as such.

Only by asking for higher prices for the better cars will the price of other coupes come off rock bottom.

Just my opinion

I make this point regularly.

Pointing out that a particular car might have scope for negotiation in its price for a specific reason seems not unreasonable, but to pounce on every advert seen and complaining it's too expensive is counterproductive.

We all know what a good coupe is worth. We just need to convince the outside world that that is what needs to be paid. Only a massive publicity event or better exposure to the collector's market, will see a major increase in used values in the near future. In time it will be down to limited supply, as with all older collectors cars. Just my personal opinion wink

Why would you spend over £5,000 on the engine, but not have the bonnet struts done?

A bit of publicity in June's Practical Classics, but current value (generic) put at £3k to increase going forward. smile
