Having a bit of an argument with a workmate about Seafoam Engine Treatment.
He swears by it and Im a bit weary of the stuff.

Never heard of it until now.

Not really a fan of engine cleaners in general. The smoke it creates I can imagine won't make you any friends.

I have a theory that its the gunk and general build up of cr@p that's keeping my engine running so sweet.

I should say I'm not an engineer cool

strip and clean is the only way

I'm normally in the "snake-oil" camp - I was exactly the same about Terraclean, but the results on my Alfa diesel were considerable - smoother running, less smoke and 2-3mpg improvement

Terraclean is a very different process to Seafoam though....
