Nigel will get the title.

As for others, as you may know, my second engine popped after only 11 miles, but not wanting to give up after coming this far, sourced another engine from Nigel.

The engine arrived a couple of weeks ago and I set to work getting it fitted, on my own, with a trolley jack and metal pole. Engine in, went to fit the turbo and after a quick check discovered it had been killed by the last engine due to the oil issues.

Once again, Nigel came to the rescue and a turbo was delivered within a couple of days and was fitted on Friday and all that was left to do was top up the fluids and see if all this work had paid off.

Got all fluids sorted yesterday and filled with 10w/40.

In the last few months, the amount of parts I've bought off Nigel It would of been easier to buy the whole car off him laugh

Must say a huge thanks to Nigel, and this forum though as I would of probably thrown the towel in ages ago.

Now to sort these bl***y brakes.

Really chuffed for you Mark

We knew this engine was a good 'un, as we had been looking after it for many years at Motormech. We were gutted when the car was pranged, as it was one of the cleanest 20vts we'd seen

Great to see that the death of one car is keeping others alive
