Anybody been watching?

How brilliant would it be if they decided to do a coupe!? I've tweeted Edd and Mike before but no reply frown

As the value of a good coupe is starting to raise surely it would be a good car to do?

I thought they did a good job with the 911a couple of episodes ago, but they should be shot for what they did to that RX7 last week!!!

Better than "master mechanic" Bernie Fineman. I want to punch this man in the face until my hand is just a stump.

I think they are ok sometimes and not others.

Although I saw a trailer for a similar program called Ultimate wheels or something like that, where they convert a Ferrari 400 into a pickup!!! shocked censored

I love it, the Morgan rebuild was a great episode, although the show is false in a sense that if it wasn't for Edd China there profits would be way off, due to labour charges etc

'Old out yer aaand! I just bought me self a fiat coooope.

I love the way they sold that abomination of an rx7 back to that idiot they bought it from.

Its getting tedious the haggling bit. The acting is really poor. They should just bin Brewer off and just show more of Ed doing his stuff.
Theres far too much wild hand shaking going on for my liking.

I don't reckon Ed does all the stuff anyhow. If I had to guess, he has creative input but probably doesn't break his back doing the full jobs.

At the end of the day it's telly and what it shows us is how a business might make money by putting a different spin on a car. And it's good telly IMO.

I think some on here really need to lighten up, it's only telly after all. The likes of Wheeler Dealers as I've said before is a bit cheesey, it's an easy watching no bollocks no swearing show... simples. Other similar format shows British or American have to be taken with a bag of salt.

I'll watch practically anything aimed at the petrolhead. In my book Fast n Loud is quite entertaining. I've got my Grandson doing that finger pointing thing with the thumbs up & going wooow that Richard does. It's all bit over the top, but it's good fun watching with my Grandson.. smile

I love fast and loud, it is entertainment and it makes me chuckle each time. Richard is a gem of a guy. I like. I also like wheeler dealers for the same reasons stated above. Regardless of outcome the interesting parts for me is seeing the inherent weak points of the cars they take in.

All of these programs run to the same formula, and that annoyed me for a while. However I just let that wash over as they are entertainment predominately and educational a very low second.

I thought this weeks Wheeler dealers was very good, I leant a lot about a different suspension system and the acting between the two was quite good. If you watch an early show it is terribly wooden, but much like Lineaker in the Walkers adds, these two have got a lot better. At least Wheeler Dealers does not run to a dealine, which makes for a lot of dramatic will they won't they music rolleyes

Gas Monkey, Fast n Loud, is great fun and now even Mrs Bockers enjoys it.

Its still good but this series has gotten very commercial .Since hes moved into the bigger garage and now he has his bar (i dont need to know anything about it as its a car show ) and all his workers playing up to the camera its lost a bit .

Bottom line these shows are about money, pure & simple. Tune in, hang on, & enjoy the ride, it is what it is. When you start to take things too seriously & get all picky about things, it's time to move on.

Just for the record, I come from a time when the likes of Angela Rippon was a presenter for Top Gear shocked You really don't want to be going back to that format of shows.

Obviously television has far more to offer in the way of automotive entertainment now, & again obviously it doesn't always get some engines running, but compared to bygone years they make far better watching it has to be said. Well I think so... driving

Erm, nothing wrong with the women, but when she & Top Gear were an item, one word.... boring. Other presenters of the time were the same. OK it was in it's infancy & it was what it was. Certainly todays offerings are over the top to say the least at times, but far more entertaining it has to be said.

I spotted it too. It fitted in quite nicely with the Maseratis although I'm not sure how the owner got it up onto the lawn over that stone wall?

£400 for a full set of tyres - yeah right. Retreats maybe. And swapping the track rod ends without doing the alignment!......

It only makes sense if you assume the tracking was right to start with..... better off not filling the tyres with nitrogen and spending the cash on tracking.
