proccy Unregistered P	Got a lady friend going to this. I saw them around 1974/75 too at the Birmingham Odeon (i think) and they were supported by a band no-one had ever heard of - Van Halen....Van Halen blew Black Sabbath away, but it was a good effort from Ozzie, Tony etc......

tim42 Unregistered T	Well... the Sabbath exceeded my expectations. Ozzy missed a few notes but was pretty good for a bloke that picked up his bus pass last week. The band were superb, including the phenomenal Tommy Clufetos on the drums. Two hours of classic Sabbath, old songs and new songs rounded off with a good dose of Paranoid. Excellent!!

Looking at what's been posted online they don't seem to be messing around with the setlist so it looks like my favourites "Children of the Grave" and "Into the Void" get played too. Baz Project LE+

Same here, saw them last night for the first time and it was excellent. Really impressed by the new Hydro venue as well, great sound for such a big venue, from the centre of the floor area at least. About time we had a good quality venue of that size though, considering that for every metal and punk band I've seen at the SECC over the last 25 years or so the sound has been shit. The blu-ray released for the new Sabbath tour is very good too, definitely worth a look.
