I'm planning to see the race early on Saturday afteroon as they whizz through North West Surrey just a few miles from me. I watched the race yesterday on TV and did wonder how they could see in the rain, can you put Rain-X on bike glasses/lenses and will it just run off like in the car? (where I normally have to be driving close to 30mph with a fresh application for it to just run off)

They are coming within a mile of here on Saturday afternoon.
That will mean gridlock around Farnham, even worse than usual.

We must all do our part for the planet. I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

I hope you all get a good position on the route. Yes, I'll be at home Watching it live on ITV4 no doubt I'm not usually interested in stuff like this, but seeing as it's coming through Wrexham, I thought I'd have a quick look on the tv. It's not live, although there are highlights of stage 3 from 1pm.

Nail biting finish today, and it was good to see no crashes despite the narrow spaces. Somebody posted this "cycling explained" video. Handy stuff. Cycling Explained

Well that's getting forwarded to my dad, he's one of those cyclist thingies of which the video speaks. Me? I just ride a bike occasionally.
Up yours Photobucket.
