I would just like to say that I think it is the quality and effort of the moderators that make this such a great forum. I have been on plenty of sites were text speak, swearing and poor(hide behind the keyboard)behaviour has, very soon, become tedious and unbearably boring. I think the balance between having a good laugh and drawing the line is spot on. So thanks if you give up your time to moderate. That's all I wanted to say. Oh and if a mod comes on and corrects my grammar, then I'm LEAVING !!

<ahem> where text speak... I'm not a mod and that's spelling, not grammar, so you have to stay.

I feel i must agree here; since leaving the fold I have mostly frequented two other Forums, Pistonheads, and one other which shall, for now, remain nameless. On this forum you are able to voice an opinion without being stamped on for being negative, and you can ask a question without having to fill the post with endless pictures of cars (still don't get the point of that - typical of the nameless forum). Also you can ask a question without being mocked mercilessly by someone who is so overly anal that in day to day life you would avoid them like the plague (full-on car bore - Pistonheads). My Coupe left me almost three years ago, and i still find myself coming back for the sense of community on here. Of course the only downside is I usually end up checking to see if my Coupe has come up for sale on here (not as yet) and then realising i have no funds to buy one with anyway

Its OK - its scratching an itch I've had for a while now.
Granted it turns heads (not least due to the noise of the thing) but i do miss the buzz of the old Sprinty Turbo. And that turned heads in a different way...
At least with the Midget its simple enough that i can do most of the work if any needs doing - a 1975 1500 engine is somewhat simpler than a 20V Turbo lump in a Coupe...!

This forum is the best I use.
That's down, on the whole, to the mods and the sensible attitude here.

And another thing - as I have found out on my travels over the years, the internet is definately full of idiots. However, this forum seems devoid of idiocy - possibly one of the most intelligent and friendly forums (and car clubs for that matter) i have ever had the pleasure of being a part of
