Spotted a red Coupé outside the vets at Cumnock tonight, was that you Davesport? Baz If the reg was R*** HGK with the LE bodykit then that would have been my old car, sold to a chap in Cumnock. Dont think he's on here yet but I did point him in this direction! Jay

Aye that's the one, I was hoping to speak to the owner when I came out from the vet but I heard him drive away before I was finished. Baz Sounds about right! It wasn't exactly a quiet car! Garret GT28RS turbo with a large exhaust to house the beast made it quite loud! Good to know it's still out and about, running fine! Less than 24 hours after I sold it, the coolant hose of death burst. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing a car I sold had broken down that soon so ended up covering the costs of recovering the car and getting a new silicon hose fitted! Fortunately the engine survived!

I know the guy and the car but its not me.Mines is portofino blue. He used to have a green 20vt that was written off.The lure of the coupes is strong so he bought another one.

British Touring Cars Championship yesterday - Saw a Yellow Coupe parked on the hill at Knockhill. Didn't manage to go up and have a closer look. Anyone from the club?

R***HGK going to be up for sale i've just found out .jay1984 old car. Already!? I only sold it like 2 months ago! If anyone wants a properly cracking looking red 20vt with a Garrett turbo and all the big jobs done recently, look out for this one! I miss it big time! My focus diesel just doesn't put any form of smile on my face (well, until it comes to filling up!)

I agree its a cracking looking car.Wouldn't mind it myself but three coupes and the rest of the fleet would be madness.

In Falkland by eagle-eyed friends (not the best resolution I'm afraid) The interest for me was that they had no idea the private plate on this was fixed (but not transferred) to my broomy16vt I bought about 12 years ago. I am given to believe that the Professor, D.F. L****h is no longer with us but this might now belong to his good lady, who is part of a very musical family. A couple of summers back I did see a rather tired broomy R reg also parked in Falkland - wonder if it could be the same one. 5th June 2011... Visited Falkland Palace this afternoon, spotted a broomy 20v parked the far side of the cross [R*** *SC] and after circling to find a space found that the car next door has dis-apparated so slipped in beside it....no one came near though but a couple of folk were mildly curious to see them both. Think it was an off-day for it, quite a few dents and scratches, paintwork quite faded

It looked uncared for and had a few knocks. I've also seen it parked outside the music shop in the middle of the village - beside where the fountain is.

Now that's maybe the one that used to belong to Lee, whom I haven't heard of for a couple of years. From 9/6/2011 Outside George Heriot's on Tuesday evening taking the lad to work, caught this guy on the way back pulling out - he stopped and said "you've copied my roof" ....cheek considering he'd seen me at Haymarket last year and swore to get his painted black So stopped and had a chat, introduced and recommended him to the forum naturally, really chatty bloke who works at one of the big tyre places and over the moon with his coupe "baby"

If it was a sprinty it's Sparkys old one that's now owned by Mick,,who was the mechanic/owner of D+M specialist Alfa/Fiat garage in Irvine,,now sadly closed down through no fault of Mick . If it was yellow then it was the woman I work with and the reg is heading my way soon,,so flash me if you see it on a white Alfa Gt,,,

Ah, must have been mid afternoon on the A71 dual carriageway - did you flash from a coop? It was about ten minutes out of the city centre at about 3:00pm - you'd just turned onto the A71 heading into the city (don't think it was dual carriageway though) Wasn't in a Coop - I was a rear-seat passenger in a VW Golf - didn't even notice you until you flashed past the side window
