Time to sell my One Owner Fiat Coupe LE #1404067

Hi All,

I've owned my Coupe LE from new (since August 1998 - number 43) but I very reluctantly feel the time has come to sell it as I have a worsening back and legs condition which makes it less comfortable than I would like on longer journeys, despite the lovely leather seats gripping me in six places.

Am I stuck with Auto Trader or ebay or is there a better option to list it for sale?

I will really miss my lovely coupe as I am convinced the gas pedal is linked to my smile muscles. I have never thrashed it and the turbo is a very smooth delight.

It will be a sad day when it goes but I feel I must move on for the sake of my health.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Cheers,

You could apply for sellers permissions Paolo and have an advert in the market place of this forum.

Here's how you go about it.

His first post in 2009 has gone AWOL then. I'm looking forward to seeing the car!

His first post was given leave. It is snuggled in among the other over 300,000 posts in the 'deleted' forum.

Hi guys and thanks for the replies. I need to prep the car for sale but very briefly it is red and has done just over 66,000 genuine miles.

I won't list any further info as I don't wish to breach any forum rules but when I have the car ready I'll come back and we'll see how best to advertise it including of course on this forum.
Cheers.

Also Paulo - ignore the current Coupe prices, especially on eBay & don't get pressured into selling it for pittence (each coupe must be valued individually & at the end of the day it's a one owner LE wink

Don't get taken in by the following kind of statements (either on here or anywhere else)

" oh yea but I saw this one go for £.... "

"in the current market this car is not worth more than £.... "

etc etc

get advice & reach a reasonable price & stick to it - it's what needs to happen with these cars. I'd advise you try & sell it on this Forum, where it will be appreciated. People will expect it for next to nothing on eBay - I'd seriously advise against putting it on there first

If the cars a good one then DONT let it go for any less than 6k.
Personally I would list for £6995

Trust me you'll get that for it.

Low mileage LE
One owner
And in the best colour.

And that's the $64k question.....

Otherwise it's worth a couple of grand.

Hi All,

Just to say that after careful thought I will be reluctantly putting my one owner LE (67,300 miles) up for sale very shortly.

I appreciate the advice as to the suggested asking price and best place to sell it so I will be using this forum.

Hopefully I'll get the pics and description done by the end of the week.

Cheers,
Paolo
