and now she's gone. cry

I must confess to a little tear in my eye as she drove away, sun shining on her back, but feel happy that Dave (DC20VT) seems to be keen to keep her in the condition she's accustomed to.

I also want to say a quick thank you to everyone who has offered their thoughts and ideas during my ownership, especially Roger at Power Italia, without who there is no way I would have this amount of time spent in such a lovely car.

I've a few bits and bobs to sell in the sale forum but essentially this is my good bye.

Best of luck to you coupé owners,
Chris. smile

I really honestly couldn't think about selling one of mine,
I bought a 20v VIS (first car) in April 2012 as a 20th birthday present to myself and at first I was scared of it since I had passed my test in a car that had I think 2 cylinders it was so slow, but in the 9 months and 33k miles I got to know her, I could expand my business and travel the country, and I feel I am now addicted to the coupes, so much so I went out and got a 20vt.

Roger at Power Italia is a guru I am yet to meet other key coupe geniuses (apart from the team at motormech) but the sheer passion people put in to keep these vehicles on the road is awe-inspiring,

I am sorry to see you go but as one owner leaves another arrives, you never know in the future you might pass a garage and see one, and think "why not"

I didnt think would ever sell either, but having her for 6 years is good for me and i have another classic that is a keeper as well so just felt like the time to move on.

Think they are great cars still, sure people will look back in 10-20 years with fond memories, wonder what they will be selling for then?

You should be able to shrink cars so can keep them easily for the future!
