I am thinking of testing another set of pads this Sat at Snetterton. Has any of you got first hand experience with the two pads and can compare them for me. They're roughly same price and roughly same spec on paper. It would be good to know their life span too (as you know I went through a set of OMP 971c pads last Thurs at Snetterton).

Dont know about Tarox Corsa but I hated the Yellowstuff, definitely not up to trackday job on a Coupe.
Best track pads yet for me: Carbotech XP8

Fair enough Per, I guess XP8 are superior but on a moody day at Snatterton Yellow Stuff should be fine or should they? I read a lot of good reviews of the Yellow Stuff on this forum from people using them on track days so might give them a try myself.

I thought they were quite good when cold, compared to other track pads.
If you do calm nice laps they might be fine but if you're really using the potential of our Coupe you'll find they dissintegrate at a rapid rate as well as serve with a super-spongy feel.

Yes they are indeed relative good when cold compared to other track pads.

Are you implying we don't drive the coupe to its potential? laugh

I've found the yellows to be pretty dodgy when cold, and very aggressive on discs, to the point where the discs need changing and the pads have half their life left, and both were fitted together!

What discs were they? A quality disc should be up to the job.
