there's this black mk2 st right around the corner from me. It sounds *bleeping* awesome lol laugh Its all black, black painted alloys, lowered and has a FMIC. According to a sticker on the rear,it has a Mongoose exhaust. Not heard an st sound quite like it! He used to drive normally down our street (its long enough for a good run) but since me having my car,he tends to floor it in first lol

Though you will not of course post about racing or comparing other cars' performance on the road, since that is against the forum rules! <the management>

*ill try get a clip of him 1 day and post up,might not sound the same though.

The former world's fastest production FWD car resides in my garage cool

The Sanitary towel (or ST) can be rapid with a remap and FMIC, however as standard it's well off 20VT pace. A friend bought one new back in 2007.

Coopless!

Barnacle. Since when I was on about Racing or Comparing other cars?
I simply posted about a car I know and see every day in General Chat.

Seriously, seems like you can't talk about anythin other than a Fiat Coupe these days!

*If you mean about me saying I'll give him a run for his money, i didn't say I was or we was racing now does it? Was a figure of speech!

Mickey, having deleted the original text I don't (and can't) recall it - but it mentioned your friend charging up your road at speed and then you passing him. Not an out and out 'versus' post but not what we wish to encourage - which is why only that sentence was removed and not the whole thread.

beg you pardon? seems you have mis read my post! it DID NOT say anything aout a neighbour charging up my road and me passing him! I know,'cos i wrote it!
What it did say was 'he floors it in first past my house' and i went 'tissh' passed his house. Like you do when you want to have a smile on you face with your neoughbours when they pass you house smile 'The noise of his car puts a grin on my face laugh
Nothing to the sort of passing each other on a street/road?

pfft!

There's more performance cars than you can shake a stick at over here. In my apartment block alone I have seen a Maserati MC12, Audi R8, GT3 and lots of American V8's, Mustang, Camaro, Charger, etc.
Not sure if they would sound as good as an ST with a Mongoose exhaust though wink

The list of super cars around where I live is just stupid.

A few off the top of my head...

F430
F355
AMG black edition
GT3 RS
Lamborghini gallardo
Too many Aston martins to name
8C
Masserarti 3200
Masserarti GT

Bedford is a nice little hot spot for super cars!

Weirdly I know most of the owners laugh

have a F40 and Enzo near me, trying to get a ride in them as i keep reading so much about them especially the F40. Recent buyers guide in EVO magazine. My brother in law does some work for him and he's offered, so hopefully may happen.

Funny enough he used to own another F40 a while back and had an accident in it about 300m from my house, on his way to buy a loaf of bread on a sunday afternoon, and came unstuck and took out a lamp post. i still have bits of it in my dads shed!! laugh

DBS at the end of the Village, Mas Gran Turismo lurking somewhere and a Mas 430 SE (2.8).

There has also been several sightings of a Veyron, I've seen it once but the rain seems to have stopped play for him. He was around alot last summer.
