We could tell there was a game on, as we went out to Conwy and the streets were almost empty. I remarked on it at the time.

Did anyone go out when the BGT final was on telly? Same thing - so I've been told.

Not that I was particulalrly interested this year, but woohoo woohoo woohoo woohoo woohoo woohoo next year!

Here's aiming for at least 4th from bottom, stuff your Carling and FA Cups, just a distraction from the main task of staying up.

We'll be back stronger next year. Not the first time we've had a problem to overcome (Chelsea anyone?) but overcome it we will wink

Did I hear Man City have spent £1bn? I guess winning the Premiership makes it all worthwhile?

The excitement isn't over yet! As an Arsenal fan I have loved us beating Tottenham, but now there is one final wish. I want Chelsea to win the Champions League so that Tottenham don't even get a Champions League place laugh Would be awesome!!!

Yep, BHA first and foremost (my hometown), and City as my second team (due to having family years ago in Ashton under Lyne) and first being taken to Maine Road in front of 40,000 as a 7 year old. Hooked from then. Have followed both for 30 years.

Certainly can't accuse me of being a glory hunter, like so many of those plastic "neighbours" of ours smile

Ah, memories flooding back. The old 222 bus from Partington.

As a Spurs fan for 50 years I ought to hate Arsenal, but if they were in the Champions League Final I would be cheering them on.... it is Chelsea that I really dislike (and the red side of Manchester), so even if it meant nothing to Spurs I'd be cheering our beloved Bavarian cousins. My rationale is that the two most unpleasant kids I knew at school supported Chelsea and Man Utd. Revenge is best served cold..... wink

If West Brom hadn't had Mr Bean in goal this would not have been an issue!!

Tim, I've nothing against Spurs at all. Except for their current choice of manager curse . TBH we're still in Spurs debt for poaching Hoddle.. wink
