Got my Coupe 2 months ago and brought a gtec1 chip so was told to check the health of car first. smile
then the exhaust fell of the next day frown so managed to find one for £130 cat back and got it fitted smile
3 days later sent it to my local garage for oil and filter change who told me after not to take it back their again as it was a b---h of a job to do frown
so decided to change the spark plugs and broke a coil pack grr
Then a few days later drip drip oil cooler leaking grr
so had some pipes made and universal 19 row mocol cooler so far no probs smile
today gone in for cam belt kit , water pump aux belts and rocker gasket £350
hope this is it now for the rest of the year should i fit the chip now ha ha smile

Once they are sorted they are quite good, I bought mine with a worn clutch and a few months after took it off the road, did the clutch gave her a full service and anything I could get to in the engine bay whilst I had the engine half out. Then went to do the wishbones, drop links, brakes and engine bay brake pipes oh and the coolant hose of death.

I hardly have any coupe Paranoia, well a little but once you get them sorted then you have a few thousand trouble free miles, touch wood, is all about preventative maintenance.

If they thought that was *that* difficult, then its a bit worrying! Does he have really short fat arms?!

Easiest one I ever did was when I put a long filter on. Normal ones aren't that bad though?
