Keep it on the road - a car standing for long periods will not thank you in any way. Let the mrs drive the Coupe whilst you are away. Once you are settled, import it!!

Well, if it passes the MOT with nothing needing doing @ circa £45, and £215ish for tax, keeping it on the road for a year will cost you less than £300 + petrol obviously.

I agree with keeping it They are worth hardly anything now, but when you come back, they'll either still be worth hardly anything or will have gone up in value. Maybe let someone you trust use it while you're away and go halves on the tax, insurance, etc. Tough decision really, but I would do my best to keep it.

If it helps Jim I rent dry secure storage for my own personal small collection of Coupés, it's a monthly charge that's taken by direct debit and I'd be happy look after and keep an eye on yours while you're away. Personally I'd moth ball her as the value of these cars can only go up in the next 2-3 years, hopefully nice examples will command a better price. Pm me if I can help further
