After weeks of looking at old threads and talkig to other coupe owners I ordered a new Scorpion stainless steel exhaust today. I shopped around and got one from Proven Products (www.proven-products.co.uk Tel: 01822 613200) for £259 + £9 postage - pretty good deal I thought. I should have it for the weekend. Then the fun begins. The old exhaust looks fine with just a bit of rust around the back box. Just hope the Scorpion fits, as I've read mixed reports, mostly good though.
John at Proven products was very helpfull.

No problems Craig. I'll get in touch. We can even meet half way to save you the journey. I have a mate in Johshaven I might be visiting week on Friday so we could possibly organise around that

Thanks, I'm quite happy with what I paid, and yes it's good to find such a helpfull bunch. If the delivery goes as well I'll be recommending them. What did you go for?
I called motor sport world in Hamilton. They advertise 'we will beat any price'- they would not move from £264 + £12 post even though I told them about the £259 + £9 post.
Tartandude - I'm assumimg it is the same pipe as scorpion only do one kind for the coupe - Imola.

Fitted the Scorpion last night. The fitting was pretty easy, took about 45mins. The most time consuming bit was getting the axle stands in the right place and the awkwardness of working on a drive. The biggest problem was getting the old one off. It was a std Fiat one piece, I found it easier to cut it just before it looks over the back axle.
The Scorpion sound great, not too loud but a nice deep burble. I will need to Dremil the bumper this afternoon as the 4" tail pipe is touching the off side bottom corner of the bumper cut out.
I'll try and take some pictures at the weekend.
I'd recommend a Scorpion and buy it from Proven Products. they were the cheapest I could find and very helpful.

If you click reply instead of using the quick reply box at the bottom of the page, there is a URL link you can click.
This opens up a window where you paste in the url, and then another window after that where you type in the text that you want displayed in your post.
Or, remember:
[ url=http://]web page[/url ]'
With the link where the 'http://' bit is and the text you want displayin in the 'web page' bit. And without the spaces at the start and end.
