Earlier this year I ordered some 6000k HIDs to replace the 10,000k originals (which I really didn't like), although I originally wanted some 5000k's, they were out of stock so ended up going for the 6000k's which I found a lot better.
They were much better than the 10,000k's for light output (
photos) although driving at night recently, I thought the light output was still too blue for my liking so had a look on
HIDS4U and they had the 5k bulbs in stock so ordered them and got around to installing today.
Normally when driving around in the 6000k's, you can see the blue outer tinge on motorway signs very clearly. I couldn't see any blue tinge with the 5000k's.
I'll keep the 6000k bulbs as as backup but think I will stick with the 5000k's, looking at the headlights themselves they don't look as 'cool'/modified as the 6000k's but the light output looks to be stronger and being closer to crystal white is easier on the eyes whilst driving as I found that the blue tinge of the 6k bulbs more tiring..
