Morning all.

My wheels really need a refurb and I know a guy that does a good job, as he's done my mates Skyline wheels.

My only dilemma is needing the car on a daily basis.

So, basically, I'm asking in a very humble pleading way if anybody is willing to lend/rent me 4 wheels that fit for this period of time - I'd guess a week or two at the most. They don't have to be nice alloys, simple steels will do of course.

So, here's hoping on the reliability and kindness of the people on this forum.

Does anybody have anything please?

Thank you! smile

Can he do them one at a time with you using the space saver at each corner until they are all done?

Good idea Dave, but that would mean 5 trips to the guy. So to be honest mate, I'd rather have them done all at the same time and get it over and done with.

If I fail on finding some steels, then I'll borrow that idea and send you a beer! smile

Get the wheels done when you're next on holiday (assuming you're not using the car on holiday). I made 3 trips to BJV to get my wheels done, but then again, that was 16 wheels in total rolleyes

Dave, you're full of good ideas this morning!

Unfortunately, I'm not away until June and I'd like to get them done asap.

OK then idea walk/jog/run/cycle to work, or take the train/bus, or lift share, or pull a sickie, you can take 3 days and self certify, n'est ce pas?

laugh Hehehe!!

The only problem is, I need my car for work.

I could do the holiday idea, but I don't like the thought of leaving it with some random for a week!

I'm in the same situation now. I'm ready to get them refurbed but I dont want to leave the car on axle stands (which I dont actually have) for a week. What to do?

There are a few people who do mobile refurbs, you could have them come to your place of work, should be done in a day!
