The weekend of the 4th - 6th September saw our 2nd club AGM which was held near Birmingham. The Friday involved the club hiring Curborough Sprint Course for the day, which was open to all club members to attend at a cost of ?33 each and spaces were snapped up quickly! Even a former club member turned up to take his Mazda RX7 around the track, with the coupe's being slightly quicker round the very short but technical circuit. A good day was had by all, members giving passengers lap to anyone who asked, with some cheeky members asking to take the key's instead and being given them! |Read More|

The SPA Italia event always has plenty to offer any Italian car enthusiast but I suppose the highlight is that you get the opportunity to drive your Coupe? on one of the best racing tracks in the world. This was made extra special for Coupe enthusiasts with over 40 Coupe's taking part and the fact that Marco had made the trip from Scotland, an epic trip as it turned out, with his beast of a Coupe? track car - Marco even offered to take people out for a few laps of the circuit with him and he had no shortage of takers with some people having really interesting runs. Widely known as the premier UK concours for top-quality Italian automobiles, this spectacular event was once again be held in the grounds of Stanford Hall, near Lutterworth in Leicestershire. Even though there was a spot of rain this year as always it was a fantastic event. One of our members Chris (MR_C), took home the prize for the Fiat between 1990 and 2000! Congratulations! The Biggest Auto Italia show of the year as always at the famous Brooklands museum. This year saw a fantastic turnout of Coupes with well over 40 cars. The club had the same area as always ? the grass section just by the BA Concorde. It was fantastic to see lots of members and non members al together representing the club. |Read More|
