Tis like food. Personally I like the badges, & you do what ever you like with your own car. In saying that, a debadged Coop in sleeper form can always resurrect the....hey what kind of car is that mate!!!! in some folk..... laugh

Just for the record, I'd rather see no badges at all compared to badges of a spurious nature. Just my thoughts.

You need to debadge it, then rebadge it with Ferrari badges.

Reasons? Because the Fiat Coupe looks a bit like a Ferrari and what better way to make people think you drive a Ferrari than to put Ferrari badges on it?

Imagine, one day you are at Tesco putting your shopping into the boot and a guy comes over.

''Nice car mate, what model is it?'' he asks.
'It's a Ferrari.'' you reply.
''Yeah, but what model?'' he asks.
''Erm...a three...thr...four...fo...you know I just picked it up yesterday, I keep forgetting the model number.''
''Let me see on Auto Trader's vehicle check'' he says taking out his phone.
''Is that Burt Reynolds?!?'' you yell out, pointing behind him.

He turns around to look and you quickly jump into your Coop and drive away.

Hey JKD

If you want to stick the prancing horse on it- you bought the wrong car.

The Coupé can hold its head up high by being itself.

Anything else just plays into the 'poor mans Ferrari' jibe...

And (just to slightly deconstruct your story) nobody driving a Ferrari gets approached in carparks.

Didn't Burt Reynolds drive a car with a horse as a logo?

Was that car made by a company starting with "F" and containing four letters?

I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. I was referring to other metal type badges that really have no place on a Coop. So easy to misread things.... smile

In a fictional world where Burt Reynolds can shop at Tesco, Ferrari drivers can also get approached in car parks. tongue

Tom Selleck drove a car with a horse as a logo that began with an F and was seven letters.

I'm going to keep the bonnet badge on my 'new' Coupe unless I swap the bonnet over from my old Coupe.

Today was the first time my Mum has seen the new Coupe and she asked me what the 'lines' were on the front of the bonnet laugh

And I have had the pleasure of driving a 308 GTS as one of my fellow car club members owns a red one. We swapped cars one day and she (the owner of the 308) was amazed at how slow the other drivers were going, then realizing that the my Coupe's speedo is in MPH not KPH!

I need to replace my bonnet badge for a nice shiny one. Any recommendations (so that I don't buy one from eBay which turns white / crumbles / falls apart etc. within 6 months)?

Bit late to the party laugh but when my car was resprayed i fitted a new front bonnet badge and left the rear plain
I think this is the best and easiest compromise!

Not trying to pretend its not a Fiat as it has the proper logo on the front but its easier to clean with no embossed badge on the back!

Just wish i had the Pininfarina badge holes welded up and replaced with a sticker version so again easier to clean and no future issues with leaking yes
