Going North on the A9
hello team,

quick question-

what would happen if I had the battery disconnected on the car for a while? (like a few hours)

to the alarm, I mean?

I need to get a bit of welding done.

will it sort itself out upon reconnection? Should I leave the car locked or unlocked right through?

I've got the original META M99 system, as sorted by Abacus, with the proper key fobs and everything. it all (currently) works perfectly...

thankyou!

left my battery off for weeks with no great problems. I locked car with the key and then unlocked both doors before refitting battery. When you put the negative back on, try to avoid a spark. Any problems, take off negative for 20mins and then try again, sometimes indicators flash , sometimes the alarm , its pot luck. laugh

Ok Glenn,

Thankyou for getting back to me on that.

Where is the alarm connection in the glovebox? Oh! You mean the key?

I've got an airbag deactivation key in there...
