This might be common knowledge but www.turbo-parts.de sells parts to fit gtrs turbos on the 16vt. I have a GT28RS with a T3 .63 exhaust housing with internal wastegate and 63mm V-band and it eas plug and play on my car.
Will work on any Garrett GT with a T3 exhaust housing i believe..

On ATP turbos you can find gt series turbo with the original T3 cosworth style turbine housing (the same as fiat coupe 16vt) that fits the original downpipe or any downpipe with the original fitment between donnpipe and turbo. That is a T3 .72 AR cosworth style housing with internal wastegate. That housing fits almost any gt series turbo.

I have TO4E ball bearing with T3 stage2 turbine with a .63 ar housing that fits original downpipe. Altough its a old style turbo but with ball bearing its spools as fast as original turbo. So i can imagine that the gt series with that .72 turbine housing wil spool just as fast as mine. And no issues with how to fit the downpipe etc.

Im aware of that. But these meens you can buy a used gtbb and fit it without hassle..

You can also get an adapter to convert it from the 4 stud exit to the 3 stud fitment used on the coupes as well. I've got one in the garage not being used.

But those are only for external EG arent they?

Has anyone got any turbos from the site provided by Brickfoot? Are they reliable? I can tell what brand they are.

I'm really interested in getting a new turbo for my 16vt and at the moment I don't know from where to get a good replacement.

I was thinking getting a T3 replacement and a Intercooler.

I bought a car with their copy of gt2871r called gtr-2871 and once it broke, a turbo shop took it aparat and inspected it. I was told that this is the worst turbo copy they've ever seen and they have seen a lot of Chinese copies. Some are good but not from that shop. I would avoid. If you need uprated turbo let me know and I will put you in touch w a shop in Poland.

That intercooler looks good though...but now I'm not sure if I should get one after your feedback deannn_20VT...could be badly welded...

I know someone who is running a big power coupe with a turbo from there.Must be hit and miss then.

Just to clearify.. I got a genuine gt28rs with the elbow and fittings from the site.. All of that stuff fits 100%
