Hi folks

After owning one of these babies on the UK and emigrating to Oz 11 years ago, I've just managed to land myself a Plus model in yellow that I'll be taking delivery of in a few weeks - very excited as there are only a handful over here!

Anyway, 2 questions:-

Are there any really good/stylish keyrings out there available for the Coupe and also is there a 1/18 metal model out of it yet?

Cheers

Gary

For 1:18 check Ottomodels is cheaper than ebay.
It is only sprint blue but you can respray it.

For keyring I Will send you a photo this evening from Italy maybe they are shippable to uk.

Hi Gary,

Glad to hear of another Coupe owner in Australia. According to the Coupe Register that I have (and sometimes update!), there are 23 Coupes in Oz, 5 of them being yellow, but another one was written off. Is your car the Bromley car - i.e. this one?

Do you know Possum from the QLD Fiat Club? He is a great bloke to talk Coupes with.

With regard to a 1/18th scale model, Ottomobile in France did a fantastic model last year, but according to their website the model is now "Out of Stock". I got my model in mid January and it is numbered 1401 of 1500. Their website is http://otto-models.com/en/

If you want to have your details added to the Oz register, send me a PM with some basic details and I'll also give you my phone and email details. Cheers,

Hi Wazza and thanks for the welcome!!

The car we're getting (officially it'll be the wife's machine but I'll be the one detailing it and loving it so really it's for me ha ha!!) is the one from Perth not Bromley and it doesn't have a rear spoiler. I believe it's an original Jap supplied one that was imported to NZ personally so no nasty rust anywhere to be found - which is good!! Pics have gone up thanks to Boosted7 from a post last week or so - I still can't fathom out how to upload them myself ha ha!
Yes, we do know Possum - in fact we went to see him and his lovely wife just last week for coffee and scones as we debated whether to pull the trigger on this yellow beauty and the chance to see his was the real final assist in deciding to do it so yes, a great bloke with much enthusiasm, knowledge and contacts for the Coupe.
All noted and received re the 1/18th scale model - I'll have a look around and see what I can find!
We'd love to be on the register too so will PM you with some details a but later on!

Cheers

Gary

Hi Barnacle

Well I've ordered the book so it seems only fair to join the club to take advantage of the fine key ring offer!

I presume I can just follow the links and this will ensure safe passage of said key ring??

Cheers

Gary

Just follow the links. When Pete has processed the payment it comes to me to issue the paperwork and get it in the post. Usually about a week or so, but I have no idea how long the post takes!

Note to everyone else: this is a one time offer for Gary, not a general thing!

Keyring - 10 euros

1:18 model is "out of stock"!
But you can find someone on italian webs or ebay (as written above), for example, 80 euros (price is 90 shipped to Italy but italian shipping are equals to 10euros)

1:18 ottomodel Fiat Coupé

If you are interested, send me a pm.

Glad you are happy Gary.

It was actually Neil (barnacle) who organised it all.

No worries!

We get this all the time; for a couple of years the reminders that *I* send from *my* login have had Pete's name on them. Now we're organised smile
