You need to be there before 9:30 to avoid possible queues at the gate, I think earliest for display cars is 8:30.

I've always thought this would be a perfect event and time of the year.

Ordered my tickets this morning.

It's to early in the financial year for the agm but let hope it's closer to London as that's where most come from who attend .

New discs, pads, clutch, belts... and engine (thanks Joe). And maybe even a reconditioned roof rack. I'm in.

As it is just after the close of the previous year. Could not the forward planning of the coming year be shifted and the previous years discussed?

The fact is under the club rules AGMs have to be late summer / autumn.

Many of the people who attend AutoItalia in coupes are not club members in any case, and on the day there is simply too much to do than spend a couple of hours inside away from the action.

Of course there is always Sunday following the event, but most folks will have gone home anyway.

Much as it would suit me to have an AGM 20 miles from home, it is much fairer on all members if they be held in the midlands.

Club members please feel free to continue this discussion in the members area though and lets keep this thread about the 2015 AutoItalia meet.

As normal we will give preference to club members.

I expect we will get 4 places in the usual track sessions and I we should get 10-12 in the demo parade before the main track sessions.

For entry into any of the events on track or on the Test Hill all drivers will need to produce their driving licences to Brooklands Museum officials, so don't forget to bring them with you.

For the Demo parade we need to get a good mix of types and colours, Ideally at least one of each model: 16V, 16VT, 20V, 20VT, 20LE, 20Vis 20VTPlus. AutoItalia will need to be able to create an article around it.

If you want to take part in the Demo parade then please add your name to the list showing what you would like to bring;
