What a long day! set off at 6am, home for 9. The car has done 500 miles today alone Didn't miss a beat. She went to Bristol for some Flea lovin'. Only mods are: * Cobra sport cat-back stainless steel exhaust * De-cat pipe * Blitz stainless steel filter * Forge Recirc DV Other than those breathing mods, it's standard. 270 BHP, chuffed with that! would have been happy with 260. Feels a lot less sluggish now, and it gathers speed well. Touched 130 leptons on the way home, thought I was doing a ton, looked at the clocks and YIKES, got on the anchors sharpish. Thanks to the Flea and as for the women of Bristol, spent most of the time wandering about nursing a trouser tent Well, it took a while, and a few bob (two and a half grand if we're being exact ) but the car's almost "there" now, Just need Patch to sort out the paint and remove the myriad small scratches and swirls next week, and I may just be happy with the car (shock horror!)

It's your old EBV I'm running, Apparently it's spot-on Have fun tomorrow. I went down to the marina and had a brekkie in the all bar one wetherspoons. There's plenty to do there. It takes about six hours so you need to do something to pass the time! Just took the car out again, you can't always tell how the car feels on the motorway, but around my usual haunts, it's an animal It's night and day compared to how it was when I first got her. Found myself grinning at the sound and speed God knows what 500BHP would feel like. Just bonkers.

Mate I sold my old coop because I couldn't afford it. Thank god I have a few more pennies this time. I think I've got a few of your old bits Matt so she does live on. Glad that you're finally getting there with this one.

So, what parts do you have from my old sprinty? (RIP) Can't remember - I'll have to ask Taffy!

Oh yeah. No smoke as yet. And when it does, what a shame, I'll have to fit a hybrid and go for 300. Poor me How long have you run it for Pinin? Thats what I'm planning on doing - Decat then uprate the Turbo when needed....Just collating my Hybrid fund currently.....

Mine does this - I've got a hybrid with uprated seals and new 360 bearing. If I floor it in neutal I get a puff of smoke. Don't think there's anything wrong

It was fun, but it's not a coop Plus it felt soo tinny, I couldn't hoon it for fear of being killed or worse, crippled. I sold it to a nice young gentleman and now Malc the 106 lives life on the track where he was meant to be. How's the "zed" ? I saw a 370Z outside my gym yesterday, it looked fantastic!

Yeah z good mate , had a 3month spell with an RX8 loved ther handling hated the engine , Z is the 300bhp GT4 version so its not bad, still miss my coop though and the turbo rush!

That's the addiction though, isn't it? Your Zed's probably faster but doesn't feel it because of the delivery. Supercharged Zed? I did indeed reset the ECU Flea! I know you said it wasn't your mapping but I was thinking, if it was, What a hell of a drive it is to yours and back Psalm 25:17 "Do not doubt the Flea". AMEN
