Hi all,

just thought i'd mention my full belt change today and thank Barbz for doing the work for me at short notice to the usual high standard whilst checking other little problems with the car, it was like old times!

I also wanted to mention the state of the belts which were changed in 2006 30k miles ago and were completely trashed. Part of the cambelt had a crack going right through it, the aux belts weren't much better with nasty cracks at least half the width of the belt deep, I might put some pics up...... somebody above must have been looking out for me! smile

Cheers
John

Did not think that Barbz was in this country / still doing his thing in SE London.

Has he returned or something?

He has indeed, after a little sojourn to the UAE for the last few years he is back in old blighty, a more temperate climate smile

That's a surprise, I thought he was in UAE for good! So, does that mean 2.4 conversions are back on the cards? laugh

But if he was actually up north then he'd still be miles away from you. wink
