Hi All. We will again be running the annual gathering at Cultra museum outside Belfast on Saturday july 31st. It's later in the year but will give a better chance of good weather, and it was the only booking Spot available.
As always every type of italian vehicle regardless of year and condition will be made very welcome, so no excuse not to come along.

Vehicle entry is £10 and this includes 2 tickets into the museum. All money goes to the museum and not the NIIMC.

If you need any further info by all means email me at chairman@niimc.net or follow the thread over on the NIIMC site http://pub29.bravenet.com/forum/static/s...11&cmd=show

Hope as always to see as many of you as possible.

Stu

Hi Stuartl,

Met you at the Ballynahinch Show in 2008. Looks like none of the other Southerners are around. They are either just married, at stags or their coupés are terminally ill!! My other half is away at her hen that weekend, so I should be free for Cultra thumb

I think darmtb is coming along too.

We are going to evaluate weather it's worth running after this one as it just seems like we have to try very hard to get people to come along. We're well aware there is no other event like it for Italian makes in Ireland but getting people to commit is proving to be a real struggle.
We'll see what the turnout is like and take it from there.

I think it's just bad timing for many this year Stuart. I've been trying to get to this for 2 years but there's always been something on. Last year it was my sisters Wedding.

This year it was meant to be my stag, but I brought that forward a couple of weeks to the beginning of July wink

God, I hope there is more than 1 other coupé! Mine is in a bit of a sorry state on the outside, so I don't think it's a fair representation of the model. So long as people view from more than 15 feet away, I should get away with it. I'm guessing the other coupé is James in 'Dixie' (silver DXI Reg LE)?

BTW what time is kick-off on Saturday?

Hi Stuart
I'll be up at the show again this year, so Daithi won't be alone tongue
I'm looking forward to it and I'll see you there.

Starts at 10am until 4pm.

Good you guys can make it and don't worry about the cars condition, it's not about that, it's about us all having an interest in all things Italian.

I know what you you mean about timing, it's more tha although it's the NIIMC that's hosting the event, what we really were hoping for was that all the other Italian make clubs be it car or bike that are based in Ireland would see it as an opportunity to join in and help us make it grow. It hasn't happened like that and because we can't get commiment it puts a strain on the couple of us who arrange it not to mention club funds as we pay for anything that's needed. All the money on the day goes to the museum for insurance.
We just so need the different clubs to join in with us to make it into something.
I go to all the classic events and all I ever hear is that people can't bring their cars along because they are to young.

Sure we'll see how many turn up on the day and take it from there.

Hi all, I'm going to be there too. I'll park to the far side of you, Daithi, as the bodywork on my car needs to be viewed from 20 feet!

Guys

My brother and a couple of other guys are thinking of booking Kirkistown for a Friday afternoon towards the end of August. If anyone would like to join us it costs a max of £100 for the afternoon (about 4 hours of track use). So far we have a Coop 20Vt, a Z3M and an Audi TT.

PM me if you have any interest.
