Hi guys.

My name is Pedja and i live in Belgrade - Serbia, and i have some problems with my Lancia Kappa 2.0t 20v y 2000 engine type is 175A3000. When i purchased car 6 months ago, and with car i recived never mounted Gtec 1 chip from fiat coupe 20vt.
car have 180k miles and engine is in top condition, reconditioned stock turbo, new clutch, full service done before 10k, and removed cat, stock Brembo brakes and stock adaptive suspension. and Sequential LPG conversin.

I have some questions for you:


1. Is my engine the same sa in Coupe 20vt and is it safe to put Gtec 1 chip in this de-cat engine with LPG

2. What can i expected from Gtec 1 + LPG.

3. And i a small problem when engine is cold throttle response have some lag like misfire, new NGK Spark Plugs, all filters, correct timing, no error on ECU diagnostics (petrol and LPG).

I hope that someone can help because hire in Serbia is hard to find decent garage (previous owner replaced clutch and right driveshaft, and guys in garage put clutch plate up-side down and incorrectly fitted driveshaft so i have to change gearbox, clutch and driveshaft) not to mention any help about tuning.

Is there some sensors differences(and + few electronic unit controllers), but I think will work just fine with gtech1/2. I own a kappa 5.20 turbo ,adaptive suspension,but his engine now live in my coupe ( with coupe ecu & chip)
It's a wonderful car,not for race but a spectacular amalgam of things that make you happy when drive..:)

PS: cost is very low to try a gtech...if "she" like that chip,will start..otherwise..not:)

I have mapped a Kappa 20vt, lovely car, although there are a few differences between the Coupe ECU. If you try a G-Tec then make sure you get it checked after, alternatively let me know if you want a chip specifically for the Kappa.
