RR Day - Scotland 1st November CANCELLED

Is there any call for another rolling road day yet?

Matty mentioned to me the other day that the 200SX club had suggested another joint event and/or we could incorporate the Alfa guys again? I’ve no particularly strong desire to put my car on the rollers right at this minute in time, but I do have to sort out a running lean issue so it will need to go back on for some checks so I would take part.

I’m thinking a bit later in the year – end of October or early November (cold air ).

I don’t know if there might also be call for going out for a few beverages in Aberdeen the night before?

I have no real need to get the car roaded at the moment as well but if its an excuse for a mini meet and to make fun of other coupes RR results, i'll be there!

If the 200SX boys want to have a battle of power I have no problems with sticking on a Fiat badge to my car for the event.

Yeah,I've been distracted by other Coop goodies to spend my money on recently (Pro-Alloy rad,sub-frame bushes,stainless brake line kit and LE interior & gearbox ) but now I've got all them sorted out I think it's about time I got an EBC .

Yes, Aberdeen. Unfortunately it's quite a drive but given that we have a tame RR operator up this way in the form of Matty, it seems a shame not to exploit it.

As it would be quite a journey, people should try and make sure their car is running properly to avoid disappointment of not completing a full power run on the day. This guide is quite good.

Well my spanking brand new Greddy came today .

I'll get it installed once I've changed my belts,waterpump,Pro Alloy Rad and "coolant hose of death" at the weekend then I'll go and see when I can bother Ross for set-up session .

did someone mention the drink word the night before the event and that steamer doesn't actually own a coupe and attends the brownies every Tuesday night and is over friendly with brown owl, so much so there is now a injunction against him ??

When I was checking the calendar I saw that there is a Scottish RR day marked in for 15th of Nov,was that last years or has it been provisionally put in for that date?

I can't do the 7th and 8th of November as I'll be in Glasgow wuith Kim for her birthday but all the other Sat/Sun dates in November are fine for me .

He's at Time Attack this weekend, but I'll need to speak to him anyway when he gets back and I'll see what he says.

You could always tout it out to other clubs - SAROC, SXOC, Fiat Scotland....

MattB has been in contact with Matty and he is still happy to have us as long as we are happy to do the trek up

So far a few of the admin crew from Fiat Scotland have confirmed their attendance. They won't be running their cars but nevertheless it would be good to meet and strengthen our club ties with them.
