Hi I am after (I think) some Spas springs and Monroe gas shocks but can't seem to find a supplier other than eBay any recommended suppliers?

I'm not sure about the availability of Spax springs for the Coupe but the common options are Eibach, Apex and more recently one of the specialists, FCSS has produced a set and are in the group buy section, Joe at FCSS goes by the name of Countrycruising on here.

The Apex have a poor rep where as the Eibach and FCSS get great reviews.

Try alternative autos for the Munroe shocks.

Thanks Gunzi as I use the car rarely so don't fancy eibachs (after reading posts on here)and missed the group buy.Unless I'm missing something alternative auto's only seems to do X1/9 parts now?

Hi I have contacted Spax and they don't actually list a spring for the 20vt crazy So could anybody recommend any other choices that I can buy easily?

Alternative Autos still supply Coupe parts, give them a call.

Contact Joe at FCSS he may be able to sort you out with some springs, he's a friendly soul.

I should add that run the Eibachs and they are great. They're also readily available on eBay smile

About 2 years, I fitted bilstein shocks and new top mounts at the same time. The old top mounts bearings were shot so worth doing at the same time.

Good luck, it looks like the FCSS spring group buy is still running too.

Can't you re-generate your own?
I will re-generate my standard shocks next week, in Italy there are lot of place where this work can be done.

There's a fair cost difference between munroes and blisteins so It depends on what you want from the car, the bilsteins are going to be firmer but ultimately will give better handling. The Munroes will be softer and more forgiving over poor roads.

Re: Suspension supplier? - 03/05/2014 23:07

Thanks Gunzi phoned Alt Autos and was told Bilsteins no longer available. Was recommend to leave standard shocks on but had a pull of rear shocks today and one seems a lot rougher than the other. Found a pair of Monroe gas fronts for £142 Delivered seems a good price?

Yes that seems decent. If your interested a set of eibachs and billies has appeared in the for sale section for a decent price too.
