AFR - AEM UEGO or INNOVATE MTX-L - 24/05/2014 12:09

Has anyone installed, or have the AEM UEGO AFR at Fiat Coupe?
Is it possible to connect the output to the standard lambda sensor and the setting is 0-1v?

How to connect to a standard ECU 20VT?
Does anyone have any drawings?

Or maby INNOVATE MTX-L?

Thanks
Pablo

I'm not sure what you mean by "output of the clock", but you would connect the simulated narrow-band output of the lambda controller to the Coupe's loom.

Better still: Leave the standard lambda sensor where it is and add a second lambda boss to the downpipe. wideband O2 sensors aren't as tough as narrowband ones. If you place it in the standard spot, right after the turbo, the heat will eventually burn it out. So add a second lambda boss in the downpipe, just before the cat.

My DP looks like

In UEGO I can change the settings between 0-5V, 0-1V ...
But is changing in such a way that only the serial output or display mode too?

Does your UEGO have 2 sepererate output wires: one for 0-5v and one for 0-1V?

Do not simulate the narrowband Pablo, it will cause problems. A separate lambda boss for the wideband is ideal. Make sure it is mounted at a 3am position in the pipe.

ok, thanks smile

I'll do as you write.

With Innovate LC-1 friend had a problem with a simulated signal to the ECU and included additional stabilizing systems, etc.

But now I have a question...

Which gauge AFR to choose? AEM UEGO or Innovate MTX-L?

Both models are good as gauges, so pick the one you like the look of most! And, as mentioned above, install the second lambda boss near the exit of your downpipe, with the probe end of the sensor angled downwards - or else the sensor will fill with condensation and burn out in about 10 minutes!

I used an AEM gauge on my coupe, it is a good gauge, also fed closed-loop on an aftermarket ECU but I would also not used the narrowband feed from it.
